The Public Service Department (PSD) refers to the letter by Dissapointed Doctor, Kota Bharu entitled “Do Not Treat Us Unfairly” published in The Star on 28th September 2012.
PSD acknowledged the concern regarding the issues of the scheme of services for Medical and Dental Lecturers in the Public Institute of Higher Education.
The Government have approved the new scheme of service proposed for the Medical and Dental Lecturers in the Public Institute of Higher Education. The official announcement will be made through the service circular that will be published by the end of October 2012. This improvement to the scheme of service for the career advancement of the Medical and Dental Lecturers is a means to attract and retain incumbents to continue serving as lecturers as well as existing incumbents.
